It can be overwhelming selecting products to use on your skin, with so many choices on the market! To complicate matters, choosing products that are not suitable for your skin type, can make your skin worse. So let's try to simplify it.

Dry skin: Cream bases, rich lotions and serums. Don't forget an extra, extra gentle exfoliate to get rid of flaky, tired skin. But please, don't use anything abrasive on your face. If you use a facial mask, make sure it isn't drying to your skin. We have a facial mask with Canadian Colloidal Clay that is not drying to the skin.

Normal/Combination skin: You might have to mix it up a little! A Gel for the oily areas and a good moisturizer for dry areas. A light texture is key here. Look for Lotions and Gels.

Oily skin: Rich lotions and cream bases are not your "go to" products for this group. Look for Gels and even liquids that are lightweight but that won't clog your pores.

Remember, it comes down to whether the texture is appropriate for your skin type. However, there are certain ingredients you shouldn't use on your skin, regardless of your skin type. They include, but are not limited to:

Fragrance oils/Perfumes
Alcohol
Sulfates
Anything too abrasive
Harsh facial cleansers

Regardless of your skin type, remember...Gentle and clean skincare is always the first choice. Wisp products are non-sensitizing and contain amazing ingredients that only serve to nourish your skin.
